Men stare at crotches more than women
This is hardly surprising. I am not one to jump to the conclusion that most men are a little bit gay, at least no more than Kinsey did. This might, with some study, help explain why men are so much more homophobic than women.

Gay Pornstar Rod Majors aka Republican Darling Matt Sanchez Exposed on Olbermann
The interview on the video with Max Blumenthal was not the first mention of Sanchez’s past, which seems to substantially have come out in the blogosphere. Sanchez acknowledges working as “Rod Majors” on the blog, Joe. My. God. He now claims to be straight, or in his words “bad at being gay.”
I don’t fault […]
With Oscars, Hollywood Leads America to an International Vision
As the U.S. continues to “go it alone” in the world with regard not only to neocon-style hegemony but also regarding environmental treaties, war crimes treaties, weapons bans, land mines, and transmitting any other number of insults to critics and allies alike, there is a large moneyed faction of “ordinary americans” seeking to take up […]
Craig Ferguson’s President’s Day Confessional
If you’ve been following along, you’ll know I try and do something just a bit different on Sundays. I’ve seen this video posted around a few times but didn’t really know Ferguson and his work or the nature of the video. I’d read that he was saying to cut Britney Spears some slack. I tended […]
Ten Ways To Keep Your Political Puppet Happy
As we head into the next presidential election season, we’re profoundly aware that our current “I’m the President” is term-limited. While Mr. Bush can never be replaced, we do need to find someone to fill the office. Those who fear change need not panic, however, if we can make use of what we’ve learned in […]
Test Your Political Point of View
Here’s a bit of fluff for a Sunday diversion. The graphic shows my own outlook determined by the questions. I actually think it’s dead-on—with about a thousand caveats. Who wants to be boxed in? One of the reports suggests what famous people and characters your views resemble. I was happy to find myself in the […]
I Like Being Gay
There was a book that was helpful to me in the early 1990s that I thought of yesterday, in my desire to explore something more of faith or humanism on Sundays, rather than political speech. The book was On Being Gay by Brian McNaught. I knew the place I wanted, a chapter called “I like […]
Andy and Opie Could Teach Alberto Gonzales About Due Process of Law
Andrew Sullivan posted this on his blog, and anyone can see it there or at the source on You Tube. It was important enough to bear repeating here. It is so elementary and of course this great sitcom / drama will resonate with people of all stripes.
Watch the video. Summarized, Sheriff Andy Taylor and son […]
Saw Hillary. She is Hot!
OK, first thing, I’m gay, so I’m really not talking about the Senator’s physical attributes. I leave for Bill and his contemporaries among straight men to appreciate her on those terms.
Last night I complained about not being able to connect with a souped up mac at the office. So tonight I’m at home, on […]
Liberal Mac User Grumblings About the Hillary Chat
I didn’t see it. I sent some provocative questions beforehand that I knew she’d be too good a politician to take on in her first chat. The video would not play on a Mac, or at least not my office Mac which is a WAY cool Intel Quad Xeon thing. I stayed late at the […]
Jake Gyllenhaal: The World’s Buffest Drag Queen
Sometimes I can be WAY too serious. Here’s something to lighten things up.
